Ferrari has been phenomenal till now, ever since the pre-season testing started in Barcelona, followed by in Bahrain and after Day 1 of the Bahrain 2022 GP, it can be said they have been the most dominant team. Much like Free Practice 1, both Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz took the second and third spot, thereby showcasing that Ferrari is back to challenge the constructor spot this year.

Red Bull too had a good session with their champion driver topping the charts in the night conditions of Bahrain. Sergio Perez too drove well and finished on the seventh spot.
