Bahrain GP 2022 Live: Big setback for Aston Martin team as Sebastian Vettel has tested positive for Covid-19: The four-time Formula 1 champion, Sebastian Vettel is ruled out of the Bahrain Grand Prix. Aston Martin just confirmed that Vettel has tested positive for Covid-19. Follow Formula 1 updates on Insidesport.IN.

Meanwhile, Nico Hulkenberg will replace him in the AMR22. Nico will start the proceedings from the FP1 sessions. He will be seen driving alongside regular Aston Martin driver, Lance Stroll.

Nico Hulkenberg made his last start in Formula 1 for Aston Martin in 2020. At that time Aston Martin was known as Racing Point and Hulkenberg was a substitute for Stroll in the Eifel Grand Prix.

UPDATE: Sebastian Vettel has tested positive for COVID-19 and will therefore not be taking part in the 2022 #BahrainGP.

Sebastian Vettel tested Covid positive – Nico had also driven for the team in the same year substituting Sergio Perez for two races at Silverstone. On both of these occasions, the drivers were tested positive for Covid-19.

Nico is not new to the Formula 1 circuit and knows what it takes to be at the top level. Meanwhile, he has completed 179 races for Williams, Sauber, and Racing Point. Racing Point was also previously known as Force India.

This news comes just one week after Daniel Ricciardo tested positive for Covid-19. Due to this, he had to miss the official Pre-season Testing in Bahrain.

But, some good news for the McLaren team is that Daniel Ricciardo has tested negative for Covid-19. He will now start the proceedings for McLaren starting this Friday.
