Following PCB’s tweet, Pakistan cricket team’s media partner, Fox Cricket deleted the tweet on Babar. Babar Azam is being accused of allegedly sexting a teammate’s girlfriend after videos and voice recordings went viral online. Notably, PCB is not happy with this statement and came out in Babar’s defence.
Later the Twitter user who shared the video and audio clips revealed that it was a parody account and apologized to Babar Azam.

The PCB’s swift action follows the circulation of videos and audio recordings on social media, which accuse Azam of sexting with a teammate’s girlfriend. The PCB has released a statement in which it has urged the media, including Fox Cricket, to treat Azam with respect and to refrain from reporting on his personal life. The statement has also requested that any such reports should be based on facts, rather than speculation or hearsay.

The video also shows Babar assuring the girl of the Pakistani cricketer’s place in the team if she continues to text him. However, Babar is not worried about the off-field chatter, and posted a photo that read, “Doesn’t take too much to be happy.”
