Australian players have shown that once a champion will always play like a champion. Aussies created history by winning their sixth ODI World Cup title by defeating India at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Australians have always kept their country first before any thing and therefore, many of the players had skipped the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 to focus on the World Cup tournament. After their successful world tournament, Australia players will name themselves for IPL 2024 Auction.

Pat Cummins had skipped last years IPL by saying that he would focus on the upcoming ODI World Cup. Since, he has successfully guided his team to a historic win, he would now name himself for the next IPL. Teams will look to buy Cummins as a captain for their side or an all-rounder.

Travis Head

Australia’s star performer Travis Head would make a return to the richest cricketing league after 2017. He would be a center of attraction in the IPL 2024 Auction by all the franchises. Head scored 137 off 120 balls in the final of the World Cup. He was the major reason for Australia’s win.

Mitchell Starc
