Ind vs Aus: WTC Final 2023: Pat Cummins has announced a predictable Playing XI without any major surprises as India opt to field in the WTC Final 2023 at The Oval. Cummins had earlier confirmed that Scott Boland will get the nod ahead of Michael Neser as Josh Hazlewood replacement in Australia Playing XI vs India. With great depth in fast bowling unit, Australia had a selection dilemma for WTC Final 2023. But Cummins believes Boland’s swing and pace will help at the Oval.

“Someone like Scotty, it’s just a really simple game-plan – you hit your good areas and you stay there all day and hopefully the ball will do the work for you. He’s had a few bowls over here now and has looked good. But he looks good whenever he bowls,” Pat Cummins had told Cricket.com.au.

Australia Playing XI vs India: No Hazlewood, Scott Boland likely to play WTC Final 2023

David Warner is fit and has looked in good touch in the nets. He had a good IPL 2023 season and will partner Usman Khawaja at the top of the order.

The onus however will be on Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith. The duo will be tasked with the bulk of the run-scoring against the Indian attack. Travis Head has returned back to his middle-order role after a stint at the top of the order.
