Down the order, Tim David’s fiery 42-run knock off just 20 deliveries helped the hosts register a big target for West Indies to chase. Set to chase a big target of 179, the West Indies stumbled from the very beginning. The Australian bowlers took charge as they dismantled the West Indies Top order early on.
Johnson Charles remained the highest scorer for his side after scoring 29 runs. Mitchell Srac was the highlight for the Aussie bowler after claiming a match-winning 4-wicket spell. After the end of the stipulated 20 overs, West Indies managed to score 147 runs after the loss of 8 wickets, thereby granting Australia a win by 31 runs.
