The weather is quite hot until around 4 pm. But with India featuring in the evening, the weather is expected to be comparatively cooler. Interestingly, the season in the gulf nation changes officially on Wednesday.
The Indian players for the Asia Cup squad arrived in different batches. Majority of the senior players flew from NCA Bengaluru after a training camp. Some of the others, including KL Rahul flew from Zimbabwe after the conclusion of the ODI series in the African nation.

The practice session is important for all the Indian players to get used to the heat. UAE, overall, is known to be tough on cricketers due to the heat. It is important to note that Rahul Dravid has not travelled with the team with the head coach having contracted Covid-19.

More importantly, the likes of KL Rahul and Virat Kohli will spend long hours at the nets. The former India captain has been struggling with runs at the middle so he can make good use of the nets sessions in Dubai to get back to form.
Kohli had in fact started his training back in Mumbai itself. As far as Rahul is concerned, the heat is going to test him with the player having recently recovered from Covid-19. However, both the players will be eager to get some good batting hours in the lead upto the Asia Cup.
Others including Rishabh Pant, Rohit Sharma, Arshdeep Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will also be involved in the first training session.
