Asia Cup 2022: India vs Pakistan – As expected, the first batch of tickets for the much anticipated India vs Pakistan match on August 28 has been sold out in just two and half hours in UAE. The Asia Cup blockbuster clash kept the viewers right from onset hooked. Some Fans though were left disappointed as they were in an online queue for nearly four hours only to be left empty-handed without getting a ticket. Only a few tickets starting from Dh 2500 were available and those were sold within minutes. Organizers are now set to release the next batch of tickets soon. Asia Cup 2022 Tickets: India-Pakistan match Tickets sold out super-fast in Platinumlist

  • Due to extremely high demand, the Platinumlist website served a first come, first served purchase policy
  • It had also created separate links for matches in Dubai and Sharjah. An online queue was also set up for fans when they logged in.
  • Some fans like Zafar Mahmoud, who remained in the queue for close to three hours could not get a ticket as the India-Pakistan match was sold out.
  • Mahmoud queued up in line only to see a large number of 7,500 people were already ahead of him.
  • He said the one-hour waiting period remained the same for the next three hours also.

Asia Cup 2022 Tickets: Cricket fans disappointed as the Platinumlist website was showing error even after a few fans booked tickets – One user who managed to get tickets, failed to get a notification mail. Another user, who booked four tickets also failed to get authenticated tickets as a technical error occurred.

Earlier the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) had announced that tickets would be available on Monday. It failed to mention a specific time, resulting in fans queuing up for hours on the website as early as 4:30 in the morning.

Asia Cup 2022 Tickets: When will the next batch of tickets be available? – ACC has not released the date when it will be available. But like the last time, fans would like to know the time beforehand so that they go to the Platinumlist at that specific time.
