England captain Joe Root has become most capped Test captain for England despite being criticised for Ashes failure. He went past Alastair Cook who had represented England in 59 Tests. Now, he has also equalled India’s MS Dhoni who led his team in 60 Tests. South Africa’s Graeme Smith is the only skipper to lead a team in over 100 Tests.
