- Jos Buttler had earlier dropped Marnus Labuschagne multiple times before he had gone on to smash a century in Adelaide Test. He had also missed the catch of Steve Smith who luckily didn’t last long.
- His wicket-keeping had come under scanner but his batting heroics (207-ball 26 in his bid to save the Test match) on Day 5 overshadowed his failures behind the wicket.
