In Men’s Singles, Sai Praneeth, a BWF World Championship bronze medallist in 2019, will face off World No.1 Victor Axelsen in a tough battle to progress in the tournament. Badminton Asia Championships: Lakshya Sen wins but both India men’s and women’s teams bow out
- Saina Nehwal, who will be looking for an improvement after recovering from injury, will face off 10th ranked Pornpawee Chochuwong.
- Both India Badminton queens– World No.7 Sindhu & Saina (25th ranked)– are placed in the same quarter as second-ranked Akane Yamaguchi.
