- Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand have reached their second successive semifinal in the All England Badminton Championships.
- Having bowed out from the last-4 stage in the last edition, they now aim to reach their maiden final in the Super 1000 event.
- The clinched an upset win over seventh seed Rawinda Prajongjai and Jongkolphan Kititharakul in the first round.
- They also sailed past former World No.1 duo Yuki Fukushima and Sayaka Hirota in the second round.
- In the quarterfinal, they faced a hurdle against Li Winmei and Liu Xuanxuan by dropping a game. They however fought back and clinched victory to enter the semifinal.

- Baek Ha-na and Lee So-Hee started the tournament with a dominant 21-9 and 21-8 win against India’s Ashwini Bhat and Shikha Gauta.
- In the second round, they clinched an upset win against second seed Chiharu Shida and Nami Matsuyma with a come-from-behind victory in three sets.
- They yet again faced seeded pairs in Indonesia’s Apriyani Rahayu and Siti Ramadhanti in the quarterfinals. The Korean duo clinched 21-11, 14-21, 21-14 to enter the semifinal.
- The South Korean pair started the year by finishing as runner-up at Malaysia Open. They also lost in the final at Thailand Masters 2023.
- Just before the All England Open, the Korean pair won the German Open title and aim their second title in the Tour this year.
Both the pairs will be meeting for the first time in the BWF Tour.
