Following that she went on a hiatus. However, recently Bliss announced that she is expecting her first child. Alexa Bliss recently spoke to E! News, where she stated that she and her husband, Ryan Cabrera are expecting their first child. With that announcement, it can be assumed that Bliss will continue to be absent from WWE television.
However, Bliss recently revealed that she plans to return to the ring soon after she gives birth to her first child.
Alexa Bliss Return
WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss recently spoke to The Messenger. During the conversation, she revealed that WWE gave her time off for The ‘Masked Singer’. She also mentioned that WWE has extended her contract. She then stated that soon after having her first child, she will plan an in-ring return.
Bliss said “WWE gave me time off for [Masked Singer] to kind of fully dive into that experience with rehearsals, vocal lessons, and all that stuff. Storyline-wise, I was not on TV anyway, so it really kind of worked out perfectly.”
“[WWE] extended my contract, and so it’s just basically come back when I’m ready. Probably a month after the baby, I’ll start probably getting back into the gym, and getting ready for to see what my in-ring return looks like.“
Thus, it is to be seen when Alexa Bliss will return to the ring. However, it is certain that it won’t be before next year, since her due date is in December this year. Thus, Bliss returning at WrestleMania 40, cannot be ruled out. Let us all wait till then and extend our heartiest congratulations to the WWE Superstar and her family.
