Statement by T Ten Sports Management: “As a responsible event owner, we host the T10 League at a high quality international stadium. We attract some of the world’s best players, while also developing local talent and employing international level ICC and ACC match officials and referees.
We contract the ICC to manage and investigate any allegations of corruption, which then fall under their scope to manage. Organisers have not been notified on any anti-corruption issues and will continue to take the lead of the ICC.”

Why ICC is probing the LEAGUE? According to the report, ICC is investigating the league as unsual betting acitivity was reported during the matches. The report claims, only few spectators attened the league but HUGE BETS were placed on the matches.
According to the report, the ICC also received reports of questionable activity around the teams and its owners.
ICC reportedly is investigating franchise owners role in betting on matches. It has been reported that the owner were dictating bowling and batting orders in advance.
Some of the top players were being dropped at short notice. ICC also noticed that batters gave their wickets away with shots that are unseen in top flight cricket.
The report says, around $18MN was wagered during the tournament. Each match saw betting in the range of $1MN which according to ICC estimates is very large for such a small event.
