Earlier, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bowl against New Zealand in Lahore. Tim Robinson scored 36-ball 51 while Tom Blundell (28) and Dean Foxcroft (34) scored valuable runs but did not work out in the death as Kiwis could only post 178/7.
