Last night was tough for Hardik Pandya. Making his Mumbai Indians (MI) captaincy debut in his home city, the all-rounder was greeted with jeer instead of cheer. Not only was the crowd against him, but even his own team’s fans seemed to be at odds with their new captain.
There also seemed to be an issue between Rohit Sharma and him over the leadership of the side. Despite all the negativity directed at him, the all-rounder has shown that he has a heart of gold.
Rubbishing all the rumors of a rift between him and Rohit, Hardik Pandya decided to put the hurt of the Ahmedabad loss behind him and greeted Rohit’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, and daughter, Samaira, at the Mumbai Indians Holi celebrations.
