ISL 2023-24 is set to resume from Januray 31st after AFC Asian Cup break

The ISL 2023-24 is all set to resume from 31st January following the conclusion of the Kalinga Super Cup and India’s disappointing AFC Asian Cup campaign. However, after a prolonged wait, the first Kolkata Derby of the Indian Super League season is scheduled on 3rd February.

ISL will resume with a clash between North East United and Jamshedpur FC. It will be followed by an interesting setup between FC Goa and Hyderabad FC. who are lingering at the bottom. A win will take the Gaurs to the top of the league.

The Kolkata Derby which was originally scheduled for October 28th was cancelled pertaining to security issues during Durga Puja. Although the Kalinga Super Cup Kolkata Derby was heavily entertaining, the essence of the match seems rather taken down without the Kolkata faithful in the stadium.
