Garena is set to bring the OB43 update for FF MAX on 24th January 2024. Free Fire MAX OB43 Update will bring Ryden, a tech-savvy character with a robotic spider companion. This will bring a unique blend of trap-setting and aggressive tactics to the battlefield. Know more about the character’s ability below.
Ryden’s signature ability, “Poison Trap,” launches an explosive spider that acts as both a scout and a deadly snare. This eight-legged tech marvel has two distinct modes:
Scouting: For 10 seconds, the spider scurries forward at 2 m/s, searching for enemies within a 5-meter radius. If it spots someone, it stops and deploys a web, trapping them for 30 seconds. This webby prison reduces movement speed by a whopping 80% and inflicts continuous bleed damage, draining 10 HP per second. Talk about a sticky situation!
Detonation: After 30 seconds or upon manual detonation, the spider explodes, dealing damage to nearby enemies. So, not only does it trap and weaken foes, but it also packs a final punch.

But be warned, Ryden’s spider companion is as fragile as it is fierce. With only 1 HP, it can be easily destroyed by enemy fire. Additionally, the web doesn’t affect opponents’ firing rate, so skilled players can still fight back from their sticky predicament.
