Australia made a strong comeback into the ODI series after their loss in the one-off Test match. Alyssa Healy showcased their dominance by outclassing India in both the ODI matches to secure a dominating series win.
India came close to beating Australia in the previous game courtesy of a brilliant knock by Richa Ghosh (96). But the India eves failed to maintain their composure after Ghosh’s departure and went on to give away a match that was easily covered.
The last and final ODI match of the series is dead rubber but it provides an opportunity to India to gain a consolation win before the two sides lock horns again for a 3 match T20I series.
