Finisher Rinku Singh continued his excellent run for India as he thrashed the Australian bowling line-up with a quickfire cameo. The Southpaw went on to smash 31 runs off just 9 balls as team India posted their fifth highest total in the T20 format. To note, team India posted 235 runs in their allotted 20 overs.

As mentioned above, Rinku Singh continued his fiery batting and finished the innings with an unbeaten 31 in 9 balls scoring 25 off the penultimate over itself. Earlier in the IND vs AUS 1st T20, Rinku Singh played a match-defining knock as remained unbeaten on 22 runs to seal a win for his side in the opening encounter.
“It was a perfect situation for me when I went out to bat. I was staying calm and was just trying to repeat what I have been doing in these kinds of situations. There’s no specific reason for being calm. However, I talked to Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni) several times and he told me to stay focused and try to hit as straight as possible in the death overs,” said Rinku Singh after the first IND vs AUS T20.
