SL vs AUS Live: Who is Stonis replacement Matthew Kuhnemann?
Kuhnemann is a left-arm spinner who performed superbly in the last season’s Sheffield Shield. He also bowled well in Australia A’s two – 50 overs games against Sri Lanka last week. The youngster spent some time preparing with Steven O Keefe also. The veteran was effective in the subcontinent a few years back.
“I kept in touch with him and then sent him a text message during this off-season … he said he was free, so I flew down to Sydney, caught the ferry over to Manly, and had a bowl at his club, which was awesome,” Kuhnemann told cricket.com.au last month.
