RCB Playing XI vs RR: After a disappointing start to the season, Royal Challengers Bangalore bounced back well to clinch their first points of the season against KKR. Now, new captain Faf fu Plessis will hope that the franchise can build on that performance and continue chipping in with wins. After their disappointing defeat in the season opener, RCB bounced back in style to clinch a nail biting win over KKR last time out. New captain Faf du Plessis had his bowlers to thank as they delivered a top notch performance, restricting the IPL 2021 finalists to just 128.

Du Plessis is unlikely to tinker with his playing combination as they prepare to face the Rajasthan Royals. While Glenn Maxwell has joined up with the RCB camp, the newly wed Australian superstar will only be available to play after April 6.

Sherfane Rutherford and David Willey should thus retain their places in the side, with Du Plessis and Wanindu Hasaranga being the other two overseas stars.

Who is in danger of getting dropped? While RCB have done fairly well in both their games, some of their stars couple very well face the axe and need to buckle up their performances.

Anuj Rawat scored a sedate 20 in the first game before being dismissed for a duck in the second. Shahbaz Ahmed has had little impact with the ball, but did so with the bat with a fine 27 vs KKR.

With the likes of Mahipal Lomror and Suyash Prabhudessai on the bench, the incumbent stars will need to step up and get the job done for their side.
