Retirement rumours have once again put Rohit Sharma under the spotlight. Social media is all over the place over the fact that another chapter of his career is about to close. Rohit has been one of the main pillars of Indian batting but apart from loading his career with thousands of runs, he has done his garage a huge favour as well.
Rohit’s journey is heartwarming and he didn’t become an overnight sensation. Before the World Cup trophies, IPL titles and multi-crore endorsements were years of struggle, including a time when paying his school fees wasn’t easy.
Today, the former India captain owns everything from a humble Skoda Laura that came in in the early days as an international cricketer to a customised Lamborghini Urus SE worth over INR 4.5 crore. Just like other Indian superstars, Rohit has a fabulous car collection as well.
Here’s an updated look at Rohit Sharma’s car collection in 2026.

Rohit Sharma’s journey with his cars
Like most young players who break into the Indian team, Rohit didn’t go crazy with cars at first. A Skoda Laura came early, then a Toyota Fortuner, and later a BMW X3. Those were the cars he drove while he was still trying to cement his place in the side.
The big luxury buys only started coming once he became one of the faces of Indian cricket. In 2022 he picked up a Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d. The S-Class has also been a regular sight around Mumbai whenever he’s out for events or dinners. But it’s the last two additions that have actually got people talking.
Rohit bought a Tesla Model Y, his first electric car. And around the same time he added the Lamborghini Urus SE to the garage. It’s that bright orange SUV you’ve probably seen photos of. The price tag is said to be north of INR 4.5 crore, and the number plate is “3015”. It’s a nod to his family as it depicts the birth dates of his children, and if you add it up, you get 45, his jersey number.
Alongside the Urus SE sits the BMW M5 Formula One Edition, while the earlier Lamborghini Urus Performante continues to be one of the quickest SUVs owned by an Indian cricketer.
