
BCCI review for Team India, after England failures
Team India is yet to win a match in the ongoing UK tour, where they lost two vs Ireland, and then two already vs England. That has swung the BCCI into action. In fact, there is going to be a review meeting about the failures. “The BCCI is currently observing the performance of the Indian T20 team, which has not been up to the mark in the ongoing series against England. Indian batters fare poorly in maiden women’s Lord’s Test
Despite some strong performances in the batting department, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side were bundled out for 285 only, on day 1 of the iconic Lord’s Test. Smriti Mandhana scored 83, while the captain too scored a fifty. Deepti Sharma chipped in with 57 as well, but the others failed, which kept the total under 300, putting hosts in the driver’s seat.

BBL 2026 opener to be held in Chennai
CA on Friday confirmed that the first match of the BBL season — between Melbourne Renegades and Perth Scorchers, will be held in Chennai on December 12. The announcement was made by PM Modi and Aussie head Anthony Albanese at the MCG. The match will be treated as the Renegades’ home fixture.

Alcohol crackdown on England players
The ECB has rolled out a strict drinking policy for the players. As per a Telegraph report, it seems the players have been asked to stay away from alcohol, a day away from the match. India A to tour Nepal in December
The BCCI has decided to send an INDIA A team to Nepal for a T20I series in December. The matches will be played at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on December 9, 11 and 13. The team could include some up and coming players like Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Prince Yadav, Gurnoor Brar, and Suryansh Shedge.

India face England in 4th T20I
Shreyas Iyer’s Team India has the last chance to save the ongoing T20I series. A win could avoid a whitewash in the series, and also give a chance to the visitors to draw first blood on the UK tour. Iyer, on the other hand, is searching for his very first win as India skipper.
