Check out VALORANT Season 2026 Act 4 details, featuring the new Summit map, Retake mode, Battle Pass, skins, and major upcoming updates.

Riot Games has officially revealed VALORANT Season 2026 Act 4, and it brings plenty of new content for players. The update will go live on June 24, 2026, and it will feature a brand-new map called Summit, a new game mode named Retake, weapon skins, and a new Battle Pass. Here’s a quick look at everything coming and you need to know in the new VALORANT update.

VALORANT Act 4 Revealed: New Summit Map, and More

The main attraction of Act 4 is Summit, a new 5v5 map located in a Radiant training academy in the mountains of China. The map features training halls and meditation gardens connected by special droppable walls that can change the battlefield during a match.

Key features of Summit include:

  • 2 Spike Sites
  • 3-lane map layout
  • 3 droppable walls located at A Site, B Site, and Mid
  • Walls can be dropped to block important sightlines and rotation paths

According to Riot Games, Summit was once the location of the Radiant monastery where Sage trained before joining VALORANT.

Players will be able to play Summit in Competitive mode as soon as the map launches. To help everyone learn the new map, Riot is offering special RR benefits for the first two weeks. Players will lose only 50% of the usual RR if they lose a match on Summit, while wins will still give full RR rewards.

New Retake Mode Coming in VALORANT’s Act 4

Act 4 introduces a new game mode called Retake. It is a fast 3v3 mode based on VALORANT’s exciting post-plant fights. The Spike is already planted, with one team defending and the other trying to retake and defuse it. Teams switch sides each round. Matches are first to five wins, with random loadouts that improve over time, making each round quick, intense, and tactical.
