The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India’s men’s under-19 cricket team squad for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan has been named captain, while Lakshya Raichandani will serve as his deputy for the 5-match series.

Anvay Dravid to play for India U19

Former India captain and head coach Rahul Dravid‘s youngest son Anvay Dravid has been selected for the one-day team. A wicketkeeper-batter by trade, Anvay was picked for India under-19 B in November 2025, when the Afghanistan under-19 team played a tri-series in India at the Centre of Excellence.

Since that series, which involved India under-19 A, was a one-day series, Anvay continues. However, the 17-year-old hasn’t been selected for the two red-ball matches after the three white-ball games. Last year, Anvay was named Karnataka’s captain for the Vinoo Mankad Trophy and featured in the Vijay Merchant Trophy prior to that.

The Sri Lanka tour will be 3 weeks long, from July 4 to 23, with 5 matches scheduled across 3 venues.
