Animesh “Thug” Agarwal, co-founder of S8UL Esports, has officially delivered a major update regarding the organization’s mobile esports division: S8UL Elite, the powerhouse Free Fire MAX roster, has officially been disbanded.
The announcement brings an end to a high-profile lineup that was highly regarded within the Indian battle royale community.
“We Tried Very Hard” — Management’s Final Words after S8UL ELITE Disbanded
According to Thug, the decision to part ways did not come easily. The S8UL management made extensive efforts behind the scenes to keep the squad unified and competing under the banner, but internal or situational challenges ultimately made continuing unfeasible.
“Team Elite (Free Fire Max Roster) is no more part of S8UL. The team is now disbanded. We tried very hard to keep them together but that hasn’t happened,” Thug shared in his update.
The outgoing full competitive roster of S8UL Elite included:
- Pahadi (Lokesh Karakoti)
- MrJay (Jayesh Yadav)
- Adeeb (Adeeb Ansari)
- Arman (Syed Arman Ali)
- Hasan (Hasan Haider)

The Silver Lining: Jonty, Jay, and Pahadi Remain with S8UL
While the competitive roster will no longer step onto the virtual battlegrounds together under the S8UL tag, some of the scene’s biggest icons aren’t leaving the organization entirely.
Thug confirmed that Pahadi, Jay, and Jonty will continue their association with S8UL. However, they will be transitioning away from active esports roles, shifting their focus toward content creation, streaming, and entertainment under the S8UL lifestyle brand.
End of an Era for a Historic Squad
This roster originally joined S8UL with massive expectations. Handpicked from the legendary Team Elite core—a squad that dominated the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) and brought home major trophies—their transition to S8UL was seen as a massive power move to unify a tier-1 lineup with India’s largest gaming organization.
While their competitive run under S8UL Elite has reached its final chapter, fans can at least find comfort knowing that their favorite creators are staying within the S8UL family to build the next phase of their gaming careers.
