Free Fire at EWC 2026 Overview and Format
The Esports World Cup 2026 Free Fire tournament is expected to be an offline event taking place in Paris, France. It’s going to take place between July 15 and July 18, 2026. This international tournament will have a huge $1,000,000 USD prize pool and it will feature the top 24 teams from across the globe. The following is the format:
- Group Stage (July 15 – July 16): The 24 teams are divided into two groups of 12 teams. The top four from each group qualify for the Finals, after competing in 12 games. Teams from positions 5 to 10 go to the Survival stage. The last two teams from each group are automatically out of the tournament.
- Survival Stage (July 17): These twelve teams in the middle group will be engaged in a battle of 10 games. Top four teams will emerge victorious and qualify for the Finals.
- Finals (July 18): This final 12 team competition will feature the exciting Champion Rush format for the title of the EWC 2026 world champion.

The Indian teams will have to deal with intense international competition. The teams that will participate in the event include some of the strongest teams such as EVOS (the EWC Title Defenders), MIA Corp (FFWS USA), and DP Dominators (FFWS Pakistan). Furthermore, teams will be decided in following days.
