Rishabh Pant's Lucknow Super Giants have become the first side to be eliminated from the IPL 2026 playoffs race.

Lucknow Super Giants have become the first side to be knocked out of the IPL 2026 playoffs race after suffering a loss to Chennai Super Kings on Sunday. Rishabh Pant and co. are languishing at the bottom of the points table with just three wins from 11 games. With just 6 points in their hand, LSG cannot make it to the top four even if they win their remaining three matches, and will instead be playing for pride. Another miserable season for the Super Giants comes to a premature end.
