RR have managed to maintain their top two position in the IPL 2026 points table so far, while SRH have continued to grow in confidence in the last two encounters and have climbed to the fourth spot now. Having said that, Rajasthan still comfortably look like the better side on paper, at least on paper.
They have their own shortcomings, but also the player’s pool to rectify those. On the flipside, SRH will be bolstered by the presence of Pat Cummins, who confirmed on Friday, that he would be available for the next match. On this note, Insidesport looks at the Predicted RR playing XI vs SRH.
Sooryavanshi & Jaiswal need to fire
Call it some sort of a trend, despite having a tremendous batting line up, RR are heavily reliant on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal to give them a rousing start. If they fail, Riyan Parag’s bad form just adds to their woes. Both the batters had failed in the last match vs LSG, scoring 8 and 22, respectively.
Replace Shimron Hetmyer
Hetty has only managed to score 61 runs in 6 matches, and that should be it. The coach and the skipper should not even consider getting him into the XI. Please, get in Dasun Shanaka in his place. That said, Parag also has scored only 81 runs in 7 matches, but how do you take out the skipper out of the XI? Instead, he should bat much lower, maybe no. 5 or 6.
No changes needed in bowling
When you have the likes of Adam Milne, Kwena Mphaka in your squad, you could be tempted to change the bowling unit, ever so slightly. But why fix something that is not broken. That is the case with RR’s bowling. Archer and Bishnoi have picked up 11 wickets each. The Brijesh has maintained a healthy economy this season, Nandre Burger has 8 wickets; Sandeep has leaked runs, but he is a specialist death bowler, and cannot be replaced with.
