In fact, one of the rare victories that Karachi got this season, was against Lahore, earlier in the tournament. So, it is only fair that they would be hoping for a turnaround. As for Lahore, they are in a close battle vs Hyderabad Kings to go through. IN short, it would be a cracker of a contest, between the 5th and 7th ranked teams.

LAH vs KAR preview
Lahore Qalandars: Fakhar Zaman has been the only bright spot in Qalandars’ batting. In the last match vs Quetta Gladiators, he scored a massive 103, to power his team to a win, and in the match prior to that, it was his score of 84, that took them to a win against Pindiz. So, it is fairly clear, that if Lahore has to win, Fakhar has to fire.
Other batters in the side have been quite poor. Abdullah Shafique is the next best, with only 158 runs at an average of 19. Haseebullah has scored 123, and Sikandar Raza has 115. But it is their bowling, that has been top notch. Shaheen has 14 scalps, followed by 9 from Haris Rauf and 6 by Mustizur Rahman. All of them, and Fakhar will have to come together, to get another win, and increase their chances of qualification.
Karachi Kings: They seem have a great unit, in terms of foreign players and Pakistani players, but something hasn’t been going right. Azam Khan has been the best batter with only 222 runs; Hasan Ali has been the best bowler with 12 wickets. One thing is clear, if they lose another one, they cannot make a comeback in the tournament. So it a bit of a do-or-die situation for them.

Lahore is generally a good batting wicket, and this would be no different. 170-190 should be a par score and dew might come into play under the lights. So bowling first would be the best option. Spinners might be rendered ineffective in the second innings.
