Building on its recent launch momentum in India, Honor of Kings continues to scale its presence in the country. The game is taking a dual approach to building its ecosystem, strengthening both its creator ecosystem and competitive pathway. With the launch of HOK Studio and the announcement of the King’s Arise India: KWC at EWC26 Qualifier, Honor of Kings is laying the foundation for a more connected, creator-driven, and competitive gaming landscape in the country.

Building India’s Creator Ecosystem with HOK Studio

HOK Studio is Honor of Kings’ official creator platform, developed to support creators through community initiatives, creator missions, and reward opportunities, while contributing to the growth of the game’s content ecosystem.

During its initial phase in India, HOK Studio plans to introduce the Content Creator Incentive Program, featuring combined cash rewards exceeding INR 10 million. In addition, eligible creators may have opportunities to receive Tokens, exclusive rewards, official promotional support, and early access to the game, subject to applicable program rules and requirements.

This marks the localized rollout of Honor of Kings’ global creator ecosystem in India, with a clear focus on enabling local creators to participate in and shape the game’s content culture.

HOK Studio – Creator Benefits and Incentives:

  • Phase-one cash rewards
  • In-game tokens and exclusive in-game rewards
  • Official traffic support for high-performing creators
  • Opportunities for early access to game content and updates
  • Potential participation in special creator missions or campaigns

Eligibility and Participation:

  • HoK content creators based in India
  • Creators across formats: short videos, livestreaming, guides & tutorials, entertainment fan content, esports coverage, and more
  • Creators at all stages are welcome, from emerging to established, to foster a diverse local content ecosystem
  • Final eligibility and reward rules are subject to the official platform announcement

As Honor of Kings officially launches in India, the focus is not only on gameplay but also on building a sustainable creator ecosystem. Creators play a critical role in connecting the game with its community, and this initiative is designed to provide them with the resources, visibility, and opportunities needed to grow alongside the game.

Dean Huang, Producer of Honor of Kings, said, “India is a key market for Honor of Kings, and our focus is on building a strong, localised ecosystem that goes beyond gameplay. With HOK Studio, we are committed to developing a program worth an initial ₹10 million, to empower creators who play a critical role in shaping how the game is experienced and shared. At the same time, through initiatives like the KWC at EWC26 Qualifier, we are creating opportunities for Indian players to compete at the highest global level. Together, these efforts reflect our long-term commitment to growing both the creator and competitive ecosystems in India.”

Creating a Competitive Pathway: King’s Arise India – KWC at EWC26 Qualifier

Alongside its creator initiatives, Honor of Kings is also strengthening its esports roadmap in India with the announcement of the King’s Arise India: KWC at EWC26 Qualifier, a structured pathway for Indian teams to compete on the global stage.

Tournament Details:

  • Registration Period: 19–26 April 2026
  • Open Qualifiers: 30 April – 3 May 2026
  • Online Playoffs: 8 – 10 May 2026
  • Offline Finals: 17 May 2026
  • Prize Pool: ₹500,000

The competition will bring together emerging and top-performing teams, with 5 teams advancing from the open qualifiers to join RNTX, S8UL Esports, and Aeternity Esports, who qualified through the City Tour. These teams will compete for 2 slots to represent India at the KWC at EWC26, where they will battle for a share of the US$3 million global prize pool.

Honor of Kings – KWC at EWC26 India Qualifiers Format

The tournament will follow global competitive standards, featuring formats such as Global Ban & Pick and a Bo7 Grand Final with Ultimate Battle. In the Global Ban & Pick format, heroes used in previous games cannot be selected again for the remainder of the match, requiring teams to demonstrate deeper strategic versatility.

The Ultimate Battle, played if the series reaches Game 7, introduces a blind draft format with no restrictions, allowing previously used or banned heroes to return, and even enabling both teams to select identical lineups, creating a high-stakes and unpredictable final showdown.

Together, these initiatives reinforce Honor of Kings’ long-term commitment to India by building a holistic ecosystem where creators and players can grow alongside the game. While HOK Studio enables creators to shape content, build audiences, and engage more deeply with the community, the KWC Qualifier establishes a clear and credible pathway for players to compete at the highest global level. This integrated approach positions India not just as a player base, but as an active contributor to the global Honor of Kings ecosystem.
