Garena reveals the Free Fire MAX Asia Invitational 2026 Spring roadmap, including South Asia Play-ins and Main Event slot distribution and dates.

Garena has officially unveiled the roadmap for the highly anticipated Free Fire MAX Asia Invitational 2026 Spring. Set to take place from May 8 to May 17, this massive esports showdown will bring together the absolute best teams from across the Asian continent. With regional pride on the line, the organizers have dropped the complete slot allocation details, outlining exactly how squads will qualify for the main stage.

Free Fire MAX Asia Invitational South Asia Play-Ins Slot Distribution

Prior to the grand finals, there is the South Asia Play-ins which serve as an extremely challenging phase for the teams vying for the chance to qualify to compete in the Main Event. Here is how the slots will be allocated for this preliminary event:

  • India – 8 Slots (2nd to 9th placers in TEZ FFMIC 2026 Spring)
  • Bangladesh – 5 Slots (Invited Teams)
  • Pakistan – 3 Slots (Invited Teams)
  • Nepal – 2 Slots (Invited Teams)

The competition in this phase is extremely tough, and only the best-performing eight teams will advance to the next phase.

Main Event Slot Distribution

In the Main Event, it is where all the heavyweight contenders will fight each other for supremacy. There are some high-level teams that qualify immediately to the Main Event, where they will wait to fight the survivors of the Play-ins. The Main Event slots are distributed as follows:

  • South Asia Play-ins: Top 8 Teams
  • India: 1 Slot (TEZ FFMIC 2026 Spring Champions)
  • Malaysia: 2 Slots (Invited Teams)
  • Indonesia: 2 Slots (Invited Teams)
  • Thailand: 2 Slots (Invited Teams)
  • Bangladesh: 1 Slot (Invited Team)
  • Pakistan: 1 Slot (Invited Team)
  • Nepal: 1 Slot (Invited Team)

These directly qualified squads will face off against the top 8 teams emerging from the Play-ins, setting the stage for an unforgettable battle for regional supremacy this May.
