Who should’ve been SRH captain?
Abhishek Sharma’s mentor, Yuvraj Singh, believes his protege has been dealt a hard hand. While talking about SRH making Ishan Kishan the stand-in captain in Pat Cummins’ absence, Yuvraj stated that a player like Abhishek, who has been playing for SRH since 2019, deserved to be named skipper over Kishan.
Rahane fires back at critics
Ajinkya lashed out at his critics, who have pointed out the KKR captain’s slowdown post the powerplay. Rahane claimed that those being critical of him are ‘jealous’ or ‘have an agenda’. He added that people making such comments don’t understand the game and are miffed that he’s doing so well since 2023.
Yuvraj Singh apologises for father Yograj
Yuvraj Singh has apologised to two former India captains, MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev, on behalf of his father. For several years now, Yograj Singh has criticised Dhoni and Kapil. He claimed that the former destroyed the careers of Yuvraj and many other cricketers. While he stated that he wanted to shoot Kapil with his gun for dropping him from the Indian team.
