Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will commence their IPL 2026 campaign by taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their first game on March 28 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, cricket is all set to return to the iconic venue for the first time since June 2025 after the Bengaluru stampede in which 11 people died and several were injured, as a result of which the venue was stripped of all action thus far.
