After a mixed 2025-26 season, Cricket Australia (CA) on Sunday, March 22, announced the 2026 summer schedule for both the men’s, as well as, the women’s cricket teams. The Australian summer will see 27 international matches, which will be played across 14 different venues, starting this August.
Australia’s men’s team will host Bangladesh, New Zealand and England across the next eight months, starting with a two-match Test series against Bangladesh in August and concluding with the 150th anniversary celebration Test against England in March 2027. Here in this article, we have elaborated on Australia’s men’s team’s summer 2026-27 schedule.
The schedule comes after New Zealand were confirmed to tour Australia in December 2026 in what is their first-ever Trans-Tasman series. Originally, New Zealand was set to play three Test but a fourth was added with the introduction of the 150th Test, and Bangladesh’s visit was moved to August 2026, replacing March 2027. As a result, the two teams will play four Tests in four weeks.
But before hosting their Trans-Tasman rivals, Australia will play England across 8 white-ball matches, comprising of three ODIs and five T20Is from November 13 till December 2.
