The Indian women’s cricket team, which will be touring South Africa twice this year, will also play a one-off Test against the Proteas Women in December. In the first half of the tour, Harmanpreet Kaur & Co will play five T20Is in April 2026. Then, the Women in Blue will return to South Africa in December to play three ODIs and one Test. The confirmation came on March 20 when Cricket South Africa announced the Proteas Women’s 2026-27 home fixtures.
The five-match T20I series in April will be crucial for Harmanpreet Kaur’s side as India Women prepare for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in June.
The second tour of the Indian Women will begin from December 6 with a warm-up game against SA Emerging side. They will then lock horns in a three-match ODI series to be played on December 9, 12 and 15 in Potchefstroom, Bloemfontein and Cape Town, respectively. The tour will conclude with an Only Test, set to be held in Gqeberha from December 20 till 23, 2026.
This is set to be the fourth red-ball contest between the two teams and only the second in a women’s Test match in the Friendly City since South Africa hosted England in December 1960. Let’s take a closer look at the schedules of India Women’s upcoming tour of South Africa:
