Just hours after the major login issues faced by BGMI players, the popular battle royale game Free Fire MAX is also experiencing the same issues with the new wave of “Authentication Errors.” If you are trying to log in to your Free Fire MAX account using Facebook but are stuck on the loading screen, then this is not just your issue alone. Garena has officially announced that the temporary issue is occurring with the Facebook login.
This seems to be the larger technical instability faced by Facebook gaming login services in India, which is affecting multiple top-tier battle royale games at the same time.
What is the Free Fire MAX Facebook Login Problem?
Players are getting messages such as “Login Failed” and “Authorization Error” while trying to access the game. As per the official statement given by the Free Fire India team, this is a temporary issue on Facebook’s part.
The developers have given a specific warning to the players who are already in the game. If you are already in the game and are using Facebook to log in, don’t log out. If you log out, you may not be able to log in again until the server is fully restored.

How to Fix the Facebook Login Error
While the technical teams work on a permanent solution, the following are the steps that Garena recommends to resolve the issue on your device:
- Garena recommends that you reinstall the Facebook app on your device and restart your device. This may resolve the “handshake” between the game and the social media platform.
- If the previous solution doesn’t work, the best course of action is to wait. Since this is a server-side issue with Meta (Facebook), there is nothing that can be done on your part until their server is fixed.
