Team India chinaman and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 winner Kuldeep Yadav is all set to tie the knot with his childhood friend and fiancée Vanshika. Days after lifting the title with the Indian team at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Kuldeep is set to double the celebration with wedding bells round the corner. According to recent reports, it is being speculated that the couple will marry on March 14 in Mussoorie.
Notably, the couple got engaged in a private ceremony on June 4, 2025 at a hotel in Lucknow. However, they were set to tie the knot in November last year, but it got pushed forward to March 2026 following Kuldeep Yadav’s selection in the T20 World Cup 2026 squad.
These reports recently came into the news after Kuldeep Yadav’s father, Ram Singh Yadav, visited UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to personally extend an invitation.
Speaking of the wedding, the festivities will begin from March 13 with the wedding set to take place in a resort in the hills of Uttarakhand on March 14 in the presence of their close family and friends. Moreover, the ceremonies will not end here as a grand reception if being planned for March 17 in Lucknow, which is expected to see several Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) dignitaries and other cricketers join in the celebrations.
Who is Vanshika? Kuldeep Yadav’s fiancé
While the couple have known each other since their childhood days, Kuldeep Yadav has often spoken of Vanishka. The Kanpur-born, although she likes to keep a low profile, was born and brought up in Lucknow. Not much is known for her educational background, but a few sources have cited that she has also studied in Melbourne, Australia. Currently, Vanshika works with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) – a place which is also associated with her father.
