Gujarat Titans will begin their IPL 2026 campaign against Punjab Kings on March 31. Shubman Gill & Co will play only one home game in the first phase, as announced by the BCCI. Their only home game of Phase 1 will be on April 4 against Rajasthan Royals.
Following their home game against RR, Gujarat Titans will hit the road to take on Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants on April 8 and 12, in Delhi and Lucknow, respectively.
GT would be pleased with the way their team went about business in the IPL 2025; Sai Sudharsan was exceptional and so was Prasidh Krishna, and they made it to the playoffs. But they do need to do better when it comes to the playoffs. This time around, they have gotten some new faces who could do the job for them. While last time, they had to depend on their top 3 to score the bulk of runs, this time, Jos Buttler is out of form and a lot will depend on how he performs.
The BCCI announced the fixtures for only the first 20 games, with the rest of the schedule set to be out later. BCCI needs to take into account the state election dates of Assam, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu before announcing the full fixtures.
