Delhi Capitals will begin their IPL 2026 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants on April 1 in Lucknow. Their first home match will be a day game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 4. As the BCCI announced the Phase 1 of the IPL 2026 schedule, DC will play four games with two home and as many away games.
Delhi Capitals will aim to make amends to their ways in IPL 2026 after narrowly missing out on a playoff spot in IPL 2025. Despite getting off to a good start in the first half of the tournament, Axar Patel and co. choked towards the latter half, leaving them finishing 5th on the points table. By adding the likes of Nitish Rana and Prithvi Shaw to their squad, apart from other players like domestic star Auqib Nabi, DC will be aiming to deliver a better performance in IPL 2026 and possibly head towards clinching their maiden trophy.
