Five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are all set to commence their IPL 2026 campaign on 30th March as they take on Rajasthan Royals in the tournament opener at Guwahati. Ruturaj Gaikwad and co. will be aiming to bounce back in the upcoming edition of the tournament after creating unwanted history in IPL 2025 by finishing at the bottom of the points table for the first time in the league’s history.
CSK, who have made some significant changes to their squad by letting go of Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran and have roped in Sanju Samson, boast of a good batting unit but have an inexperienced bowling line-up, which could be a point of concern.
