The last deal was worth INR 205.24 crore for two years, 2024 and 2025.

Walee Technologies, owners of the new and rebranded Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise ‘The Pindiz’, have signed a 4-year deal with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to become the official rights holders, broadcast and streaming, for the next four seasons (2026–29) of the PSL.

Earlier in the month, the PCB held a franchise auction where the Multan Sultans were sold to Walee Technologies for an annual franchise fee of PKR 2,450 crore (INR 800 crore approximately). Since then, they’ve rebranded the franchise and will use the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium as their base.

Now, Walee Technologies has bought the PSL media rights. A deal worth PKR 2611 crore (INR 851 crore approximately) has been signed, which means the PCB will earn PKR 652.75 crore annually. The last deal, for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, was valued at PKR 630 crore.

Now, the value per game has gone up from PKR 12.20 crore to PKR 14.80 crore, a 21% increase. The yearly increase amounts to a growth of 107.22%. Which is significant. However, one must also take into account that the number of matches has been increased from 34 in 2025 to 44 from 2026 onwards. Of course, this has happened because of the introduction of two new PSL franchises, Sialkot Stallionz and Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen.

“PSL’s position as one of the most sought-after T20 properties in the region. This will be the biggest broadcast deal in the history of not only the PSL but also Pakistan cricket. The steep rise in valuation of PSL’s commercial assets reflect the remarkable growth and credibility of PSL as a world-class league. We are delighted that all past records and valuations have been surpassed in this four-year term from 2026 to 2029.

The strategic alignment of both TV and live-streaming rights in the Pakistan region ensures that our fans can continue to enjoy the PSL experience across multiple platforms with added enhancements and innovations that will be developed and launched periodically,” Salman Naseer, the PSL CEO, said.
