Former India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan finally tied a knot with his lady love and long-time girlfriend Sophie Shine on Saturday, February 21. Soon after their wedding ceremony, pictures went viral on social media with fans and followers extending their wishes to the couple.
It is to be noted that while the couple got engaged earlier this year, they made their relationship official in May 2025 after being together for over two years. Earlier, the couple also shared pictures from their sangeet and mehndi ceremonies, which has garnered a lot of attention and love.
Rohit & Yuzi join in Shikhar Dhawan’s wedding celebrations
The wedding ceremony of Dhawan with Sophie Shine saw several personalities from the cricket arena and Bollywood industry. In videos surfacing on social media, former India captain Rohit Sharma also landed in Delhi along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh just hours prior to the wedding. Speaking of Rohit and Shikhar’s partnership on the field, the duo have had some memorable as well as formidable partnerships at the top of the order, especially in ODIs.
Apart from Rohit Sharma, Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was also in attendance as he was the first to react on his friend’s wedding. Taking to X, Chahal wrote, “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai”.
