BCCI has announced annual contracts, but the board is having trouble with IPL logistics. PCB will walk back the boycott talks if ICC accepts their demands. RCB’s home venue will be decided by February 11. Harshit Rana has undergone surgery. And two IPL franchises are ready to sell a 100% stake.

ICC under pressure
PCB and BCB have made several demands to ICC. If fulfilled, the India vs Pakistan match will go ahead. It includes India playing bilateral cricket with Pakistan, the ICC increasing the PCB’s revenue share, no sanction on Bangladesh for T20 World Cup withdrawal, and a tri-series involving all three nations.

BCCI on IPL 2026 schedule
Why hasn’t BCCI released the schedule for IPL 2026? InsideSport asked this question to a well-placed official in the BCCI. The answer was assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Assam. Due to this, BCCI isn’t able to finalise dates and venues for KKR, CSK, and RR. BCCI is awaiting clarity from authorities and might announce the schedule in two parts if uncertainty continues.

Verdict on RCB’s home venue
Will RCB be able to host home matches at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in IPL 2026? We’ll get to know by February 11. Karnataka’s Minister of Home Affairs G. Parameshwara has confirmed that after RCB and KSCA approached him, a meeting has been set up with the BBMP commissioner, the police commissioner, and the law representatives to decide whether the venue is safe for hosting matches.
