Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) earned INR 6 crore in prize money after winning the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 title on Thursday. The amount is the same as the prize money awarded to champions in the previous season, with no change in the payout structure for the top finishers.

WPL 2026 winners RCB

RCB defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by six wickets in the final in Vadodara to claim their second WPL title. The runners-up, Delhi Capitals, received a separate prize cheque of INR 3 crore after reaching the final for the fourth consecutive season but failing to convert any of those appearances into a title.

The 2026 final was a high-scoring contest, with Delhi Capitals posting 203 for four in their 20 overs. Jemimah Rodrigues top-scored with 57 off 37 balls, while Chinelle Henry provided late momentum with 35 off 15 deliveries. Contributions from Laura Wolvaardt and Lizelle Lee helped Delhi cross the 200-run mark.

In response, RCB completed the highest successful chase in WPL history. Captain Smriti Mandhana scored 87 off 41 balls, and Georgia Voll added 79 off 54 deliveries. The pair shared a 165-run partnership for the second wicket, which set up the chase despite RCB losing Grace Harris early. Delhi pulled things back briefly with three wickets across the 17th, 18th and 19th overs, but RCB crossed the line with two balls to spare.

With this win, RCB joined Mumbai Indians as the only teams to win multiple WPL titles. Delhi Capitals, meanwhile, remain without a championship despite making all four finals since the league’s inception.
