Free Fire Max in India is preparing for its next major phase with the announcement of the Free Fire Max India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Spring. Following the conclusion of the first edition in September 2025, this season introduces a structured path for both professional and grassroots teams to compete for a prize pool that exceeds ₹1 crore.

This time, the stakes are even higher because the top three teams will secure qualification slots for the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026.

FFMIC 2026 City Qualifiers: Offline LAN Details

The FFMIC 2026 City Qualifiers are designed to identify top-tier talent through offline competition. These events will take place at various college venues across four selected cities.

Each city qualifier will host 144 teams, with only the first-place finisher from each location earning a spot in the main event.

The decided host cities are:

  • Lucknow (7 February 2026) – CLUB GUSTO, GOMTI NAGAR
  • Kolkata (7 February 2026) – SUHANI BANQUETS, Maheshtala
  • Hyderabad (8 February 2026) – Mihira Banquets, Ramanthapur
  • Ahmedabad (8 February 2026) – Swarnim Business HUB -1, Godrej Garden City

Please note that the teams located outside these specific metropolitan cities will be required to travel to these venues if they intend to participate in the offline qualifying bracket.

Participant Slot Distribution

A total of 48 teams will compete in the FFMIC 2026 Spring. The slots are divided to ensure participation of both established or newcomers organisations in the Free Fire esports landscape:

  • Direct Invites (6 Teams): Based on their performance in the September 2025 edition, six teams received direct invitations. These include Total Gaming Esports, S8UL, GDR, RNTX, Olympians, and Team Hind.
  • City Qualifiers (4 Teams): One winner from each of the four offline city events.
  • In-Game Qualifiers (38 Teams): The majority of the slots are reserved for teams emerging from the open In-Game Qualifiers (IGQ).

FFMIC 2026 Spring Important Dates

The tournament timeline begins in mid-February. The FFC Qualifiers are scheduled to start on February 15, providing an open entry point for all players. Following the completion of the initial phases, the Group Stage will officially commence on February 26.
