Reports suggest that the TEZ Free Fire Max India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 LAN finals could be held in Kolkata, with the prize pool expected to touch ₹2 Crore INR. As of now, Garena India has not officially confirmed the location, but recent promotional material has given fans enough reason to believe that Kolkata could be the chosen city.
TEZ FFMIC 2026 Spring LAN Venue Reportedly is the City of Joy, Kolkata
The discussion started after Garena released the FFMIC Spring 2026 promotional poster. At first glance, it looks like standard artwork, but fans quickly noticed one important detail that pointed strong possibility regarding Kolkata as a LAN venue for FFMIC 2026.
One of the clearest hints is the presence of a yellow Ambassador-style taxi in the poster. For many, this immediately connects to Kolkata, where yellow taxis remain one of the city’s most recognizable symbols.
Furthermore, the background setting adds to the theory. The narrow urban streets, closely packed buildings, balconies, electric poles, and graffiti-covered walls resemble older parts of Kolkata.
Another detail that stood out is the elephant-themed wall art. Elephants are commonly seen in Bengal folk art and Durga Puja decorations, often appearing in murals and street designs across the city. When all these elements are viewed together, it becomes easier to understand why fans believe the poster is quietly hinting at Kolkata.
While Free Fire has never hosted an official tournament in Kolkata, Garena is familiar with the city. The Free Fire Booyah Awards 2025 were held at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, a venue that also hosted BGIS 2025.

Because of its size and experience with esports events, the venue is seen as a strong option if FFMIC 2026 goes LAN in the city.
Last year, FFMIC 2025 took place in Lucknow at the Ekana International Indoor Stadium, offering a prize pool of ₹80 lakh, with Total Gaming Esports lifting the trophy. Reports now suggest a much larger setup for 2026.
