The BCCI’s Women’s Selection Committee has announced India ‘A’ squad for the upcoming ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars. The tournament, which will begin from February 13 onwards in Thailand, will see India A led by Radha Yadav. The Indian left-arm spin-bowling all-rounder is currently performing well for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) women’s team at the WPL 2026 and was part of India’s historic team at the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025.
WPL 2026 stars selected for India ‘A’
With the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars being played in the T20 format, the management has selected more than half of the players who are part of the Women’s Premier League as well. Radha Yadav, the captain is the most well-known name, as she has played over 100 internationals for India. Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma, who made a superb WPL debut, is also selected, and so is 16-year-old Deeya Yadav, who represented Delhi Capitals (DC) before getting ruled out due to an injury recently.
Minnu Mani, Humairaa Kaazi, Nandani Sharma, Tanuja Kanwer and Tejal Hasabnis are also part of the team and are likely to do well. However, heart goes out to the likes of Sajeevan Sajana, Saika Ishaque, Gautami Naik and Sanskriti Gupta, who had a chance to get selected as well. Jintamani Kalita, who has recently replaced Titas Sadhu in the Gujarat Giants camp is also part of the team.

About ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026
The ACC has moved the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars to Bangkok, Thailand, due to the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 being co-hosted by Sri Lanka. It was supposed to take place in June last year in Sri Lanka but was delayed due to the Chikungunya virus in the country & heavy rains.
India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are sending their ‘A’ teams, while Nepal, UAE, Malaysia, and hosts Thailand are playing with full-strength sides. Group A includes India ‘A’, Pakistan ‘A’, UAE, and Nepal, with the India-Pakistan match on February 15, clashing with the men’s T20 World Cup match in Colombo. Group B features Bangladesh ‘A’, Sri Lanka ‘A’, Malaysia, and Thailand. The tournament will be held at Bangkok’s Asian Institute of Technology Ground and Terdthai Cricket Ground.
