Following a period of dominance where the title topped national gaming charts in October, the publisher is launching a multi-pronged initiative designed to reintegrate Thailand into the global esports ecosystem while heavily investing in local content creators.
Empowering the MLBB Community: A Strategic Partnership
To drive localization and community engagement, MLBB has appointed GuyNgid—Thailand’s most influential MOBA figure with over 9 million followers—as its Regional Strategy Partner. Unlike traditional ambassadorships, this role sees GuyNgid consulting directly on game promotion and content development to ensure the experience resonates with Thai culture.
Wei Guo, MLBB Thailand Country Manager, emphasized that this partnership is central to their “localization with purpose” strategy. To back this vision, MLBB and GuyNgid are jointly investing over 20 million THB in cash rewards. This fund is dedicated to stimulating the creator economy through contests, TikTok programs, and long-term Key Opinion Leader (KOL) partnerships.
The Return of MLBB Giants: MSL Thailand
On the competitive front, MOONTON has officially announced the formation of the MLBB Super League (MSL) Thailand. This new league signifies Thailand’s formal return to the global MLBB competitive circuit, aiming to recapture the glory of 2017 when Thai team IDONOTSLEEP (IDNS) won the inaugural MSC.
